ALLIED CAMPAIGN 01 - FIELD HOSPITAL

OBJECTIVES:
1 - HAVE YOUR INFANTRY HEALED AND REPAIR THE VEHICLES
2 - BOMBARD THE ISLAND IN THE NORTHWEST
3 - DESTROY THE DEPOT



1 - HAVE YOUR INFANTRY HEALED AND REPAIR THE VEHICLES
After the briefing, the first thing to do as the scenario is loaded, is to press the <pause> button. When things get rough, when action is frenzy, when danger is high, always pause the game, cool down, take your time, evaluate the situation and think about what to do. Another good thing do to here, before taking any action, is to press <esc> button, click <speed> and take <game speed> to the lowest. You'll need every second available to escape the danger that's coming to harm you.

In the far east corner you have three badly damaged M-8 Greyhounds, their lifeline is red, they're grounded, and if you'll not repair them they will finally be lost. You also have three GMC Jimmy Supply Trucks nearby,  but the problem is there is an enemy bomber on his way to target your Greyhounds, so you need to turn their lifeline to green and move them before they are destroyed. So select each Jimmy with a left click of the mouse and assign them to repair a respective Greyhound.

On the left you also have 23 riflemen, 1 sub machine gunner and 1 officer seriously wounded, their red lifeline ranges from 19 to 21, so they will be dead soon if you don't heal them. Assign everyone of them to board the GMC Jimmy Mobile Hospitals so they can recover. Now you can un-pause the game.

The men will board the Mobile Hospitals, and the Supply Trucks will start to repair the Greyhounds. But there's no time to wait for a complete work, so as soon as the Greyhound lifeline turns green, move all the vehicles to the right, to avoid the incoming bombs. If you succeed in doing so, you have fulfilled the first objective.


2 - BOMBARD THE ISLAND IN THE NORTHWEST
Well, after a while a reconnaissance aircraft will show you the enemies on a so-called island in the north-western side of the map. Here we have: three Panzer VI E Tigers, one Elefant, three Pak 40 AT Guns, four riflemen, two Horch limousines and three 122 mm Field Guns, plus an unknown amount of infantry units inside the buildings. If you want to despatch them quick, left-click on the bomb symbol in the control panel, left-click on the number of bombers you want to assign to a certain spot, right-click on the spot you want to hit, then left-click on the <ok> button in the control panel. Repeat the process to destroy all the enemy units, you have plenty of bombers to annihilate everything on the island. But if you like doing things the hard way, you can forget the bombers, take your infantry and tank units and set a classic ground attack. Use the Supply Trucks to build a bridge to invade the island and the officers, with longer sight, to hit the enemy unseen. It will take longer, but satisfaction is guaranteed.

3 - DESTROY THE DEPOT
As soon as you have wiped out enemy forces on the island, the AI will suggest you attack the final objective, the depot in the south-west, building a bridge across the river where it exits the map, along the south-east border. But as long as we're here to fight and shoot, just take the sniper and have him do the job. Send him on the existing bridge, where he will first eliminate a rifleman and the crew of a Pak 37 AT Gun, then one officer, two sub machine gunners and one MG-34 heavy machine gunner, then again one sub machine gunner and the four men manning two 122mm Field Guns.

The sniper has just killed all enemy infantry units.
Now it's time for the final showdown. If you want to do it western-style, take the three Greyhounds, surround the depot and have them enter the area at the same time. At first they will destroy the two Maultier Supply Trucks buzzying around, then get rid of the sub machines gunners lurking in the buildings. That's it.
The final battle. To reveal hidden infantry I brought the sniper in the compound.
About the final score, I don't really understand the way the computer calculates it. It seems time elapsed doesn't count, also because the paused time is added, and this is really nonsense. Anyway, with the following enemy units destroyed:
infantry: 51
tanks: 4
artillery: 3
vehicles: 5
and no unit lost my best score is 56550. In other attempts I destroyed more than that, but the final score was lower.
